When I set out to design my latest collection, I didn’t look to trending mood boards or corporate style guides for inspiration. Instead, I looked across the room at one specific person: my husband.

He’s a DevOps engineer, which means his brain thrives on structural logic, efficiency, and clean, simple systems. Naturally, his taste in tech gear follows the same rules—minimalist, sleek, and entirely without clutter. But there is a second, equally important truth about him: he easily makes things dirty.

If you are married to someone who works in tech or commutes heavily, you know exactly how it goes. Gear gets tossed into overstuffed backpacks, pulled out on grease-stained coffee shop tables, and dragged through airport security lines.

As a wife and a designer, I had a very specific standard when he traveled on-site for work. When he pulls his laptop or tablet out of his bag in front of clients and colleagues, I want him to look executive and sharp. But more importantly? I absolutely do not want people looking at a stained, dingy, light-colored laptop case and thinking I don't take good care of him! 😂
